B3084 – Romsey to Stockbridge – Test Valley
Another great driving route to try when you rent a motorhome in Hampshire is the B3084, which takes you from Romsey to Stockbridge and runs through the Test Valley. On this road, you have the opportunity to take in some breathtaking views of the mighty River Test and the stunning postcard-friendly countryside backdrop.

The New Forest
One of England's most historic and iconic forests, New Forest in Hampshire, was established by William the Conqueror in 1079 and still retains a sense of tradition and history. There are various roads and trails throughout the forest, but one of the best roads for the most scenic experience is the 4 km loop rail that starts near Brockenhurst. Be careful when driving through the New Forest, as many roads are very narrow and used by animals, walkers, horse riders and cyclists.

New Forest
The then-king William the Conqueror established the New Forest in 1079, and it was officially designated a British National Park in 2005. The forest stretches across 566 square kilometres and consists of varied landscapes, from woodlands to river valleys and heathlands, all unspoilt by modern life. Cattle, ponies, and deer can be spotted roaming through the woodlands and heaths.

South Downs National Park
South Downs National Park is England's newest assigned national park in 2009. It covers an area of 1,627 square kilometres of ancient woodlands, river valleys, stunning heathland, rolling hills, and the famous white cliffs that are part of the Heritage Coast. The parkland spreads from Winchester to Petersfield in Hampshire and extends to Eastbourne in East Sussex. The South Downs Way is a 101-mile road you can travel along on bike, horseback, or foot. It takes you through the splendid countryside that was called “some of England’s finest” by famed travel writer Bill Bryson.
