Big Basin Redwoods State Par: this state park is the oldest state park in California. It is located in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The park is famous for its redwood trees, which are some of the oldest and tallest on Earth.
Stinson Beach: this beach is well-known for its picturesque red cliffs. The beach has soft white sands and it stretches for nearly 3 miles. It is not as busy as some of the other beaches in the region.
Lake Tahoe: this is the third deepest lake in North America and the 10th deepest in the world. It is a popular holiday destination and it is famous for its clear blue waters, beautiful scenery and amazing outdoor activities such as skiing, rambling, fishing or boat rides.
Yosemite National Park: the park is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and it has a wide range of attractions, including five cascading 1,000 ft waterfalls and giant sequoia trees.
Visitors can also enjoy fantastic views from Glacier Point, which overlooks Half Dome, Tenaya Canyon and Nevada Falls.
